Brief of Program:
On August 6, 2024, a smart investor awareness program was conducted at Prin MC Shah Commerce College. Some 100 students participated in the event and gained basic insights about the Indian equity markets, mutual funds and the investment ecosystem. The speaker, who facilitated the programme, explained the importance of investment, the process of investing, the stock market, primary and secondary markets, the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and its role. The session also covered detailed information about mutual funds.
