On 13.09.2025, Prin. M. C. Shah Commerce College, Navgujarat College Campus, Ashram Road, organized an Orientation Program and workshop on “Be Future Ready Commerce Students in the Age of AI and Statups” in the college premises. The workshop aimed to enlighten students about the rapidly evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping careers, businesses, and society at large.
Prin. Dr. N. D. Shah oriented and motivated M.Com. Students and Dr. Prof. Hetal M. Doshi, Associate Professor and Prof. D. B. Bandhiya, Associate Professor introduced the eminent speaker to the audience.
The expert speaker Dr. Gurudatta P. Japee, Professor, School of Commerce, Gujarat University delivered an insightful talk on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming industries, redefining employability skills, and creating opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship. The workshop emphasized the need for adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, and ethical responsibility in the AI era.
The students actively participated in the interactive session and raised thought-provoking questions, reflecting their curiosity and readiness to embrace technological changes. Faculty members also joined the discussions, making the event vibrant and enriching.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Dr. Margi Desai, Assistant Professor, acknowledging the guest speaker, faculty members, and enthusiastic student participants. Overall, the workshop proved to be highly informative and motivating, preparing learners to be future-ready in the age of Artificial Intelligence. The event was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Margi Desai and Prof. Dr. Hetal Doshi under the able guidance of Prin. Dr. N. D. Shah.
