Brief of Program:
Prin. M. C. Shah Commerce College, celebrated International Mother Language Day on 21 February 2026 in collaboration with the Central Library of Navgujarat Group of Colleges. The programme aimed to promote awareness, pride, and appreciation for the mother tongue, encouraging students to value and preserve their linguistic heritage. As part of the celebration, the Central Library organised a special exhibition of Gujarati books, featuring literature, poetry, novels, biographies, and other subject-related works, which attracted enthusiastic participation from students.
During the programme, students were guided on the importance of using their mother language in everyday communication and academic life. The event served as an inspiring initiative to strengthen cultural identity and language appreciation among students.
