Brief of Program:
The Innovation Club of Prin. M. C. Shah Commerce College successfully organized a 30-hour Certificate Course on Python from 05/01/2026 to 09/01/2026 with the objective of strengthening students’ technical skills and analytical thinking in the fields of programming and innovation. The programme was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Dr. N. D. Shah, whose continuous support and visionary leadership encourage skill-based and future-ready education initiatives.
The course was led by two distinguished resource persons — Mr. Chintan Patel, Academic Associate at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, and Mr. Darshil Dhruv from KCG (Government of Gujarat). Their combined expertise brought together academic depth and practical exposure, enabling students to understand Python not only as a programming language but also as a powerful tool for problem-solving and innovation.
The academic coordination of the course was efficiently managed by Dr. Pallavi C. Vyas and Dr. Hetal Doshi, who ensured smooth planning, execution, and effective engagement throughout the programme.
A total of 35 students actively participated in the course. The sessions covered both basic and advanced concepts of Python, with a strong emphasis on logical thinking, hands-on practice, and real-world applications. Interactive teaching methods, practical demonstrations, and problem-solving exercises made the learning experience meaningful and effective.
On Day 5 (09/01/2026), students showcased their learning by presenting Python-based projects, demonstrating their ability to apply programming concepts to practical situations. These presentations reflected their creativity, analytical skills, and confidence in using Python for solving real-life problems.
During the valedictory session on 09/01/2026, certificates were awarded to all participants. The Innovation Club expressed sincere gratitude to the resource persons, course coordinators, and all students for their valuable contributions, making the programme a meaningful and successful academic initiative.
