Rules & Regulations

Admission:

  • Admissions are governed by the rules and regulations of Gujarat University and the Government of Gujarat
  • A centralised admission process is followed for new entrants
  • Admissions are based purely on the merit list declared by Gujarat University
  • The institution does not have a management quota for admissions
  • A help center is available at the college, as per Gujarat University guidelines

Fees:

  • Fees must be paid at the time of confirmation of admission
  • Payment is to be made online via the Vidyalaya App
  • Fee payment notifications are issued to students online in advance
  • In case of Admission Cancellation, Fee Refunds are Processed as per Gujarat University regulations
  • Fees must be paid within the stipulated time
  • Failure to pay fees despite repeated reminders may result in the cancellation of admission

Campus Features:

Students are made aware of the responsible use of infrastructure during the induction programme. Basic infrastructure includes:

  • Well-equipped, Wi-Fi-enabled campus
  • Library with an extensive collection of books on various subjects and a Well-ventilated reading room
  • Modern, spacious sports room with high-tech equipment
  • Well-Lit, Well-Ventilated Classrooms with internet connectivity and inbuilt projectors
  • Fully furnished Ladies Room
  • Medical Room with a doctor on call is available for staff and students
  • Canteen facility serving hygienic food
  • Dedicated committee for students’ mental health and well-being
  • Classrooms and corridors are equipped with inbuilt speakers
  • Prayers take place every morning

Rules:

  • Students must carry their college ID card daily
  • Discipline must be maintained according to college authority directives
  • Students have access to the internet and library before and after class hours
  • Silence, hygiene, and cleanliness must be maintained across the campus
  • Students may be charged a penalty for any damage caused to college property or equipment
  • Ragging, smoking, and the use of tobacco are strictly prohibited, and severe actions will be taken against violators
  • As per the Government of Gujarat’s guidelines, all students must submit an anti-ragging affidavit
  • Parking is at the student’s own risk
  • Students are responsible for staying informed by regularly checking the notice boards and the Vidyalaya App for updates and instructions
  • Students are expected to uphold moral and ethical behaviour
  • Water and electricity should be used judiciously

Academics:

  • Assignments for all subjects must be submitted on or before the due date
  • Students must appear for all examinations scheduled by both the college and the university
  • It is compulsory to secure the minimum required internal marks
  • Class attendance is mandatory and factored into internal assessments
  • The college offers various co-curricular, cultural, and extracurricular activities throughout the year, and student participation is encouraged for holistic development
  • Seminars are organised for the professional development of students, fostering employability
  • Students are prepared to participate in on-campus and off-campus placement drives
